A Filetta

In a very rare UK concert, Corsican male voice choir A Filetta performs a festive programme of traditional song drawing on religious polyphonic song, hymnals, folk songs and occasional dance numbers.

Powerfully redolent of their homeland, the six male voices blend seamlessly, with bass running underneath layered harmonies as they rise and fall.

Formed in 1978 to preserve the island’s vocal traditions, A Filetta have forged an international reputation that brings together old and new, including their own original compositions.
