The Holcombe Family String Band, Hungarian Lanterns

The Holcombe Family String Band are a Leeds based band influenced by the ragtime, hot jazz, hokum and western swing of the 1920's, 30's and 40's. The attention to detail in the band's songwriting and performance shine through, taking something steeped in the past and highlighting the perpetual relevance of a music often thought of as primitive or archaic.

Hungarian Lanterns are a Sheffield and Berlin based musical project featuring the songs and vocals of sought after lyricist and award-winning comedian Anthony J. Brown, who also writes words for several German groups.
