Introductory Music Production Course - "Learn Music Production"

Learn Music Production is all about the process of getting the most out of an artist and crafting them a product that is much more than the sum of it's performed parts. Taught by experienced teacher, producer and studio owner Ed Heaton, this course is a must for those wishing a peek at and long discussion about what's really important in production (i.e. not the plugin list someone's amassed).

About Ed:

Ed Heaton has been working professionally for over 13 years with a host of different artists from West Yorkshire and beyond. Recording first at The Soundmill and now at Eiger Studios in addition to his own custom built mix space The Coal Room, Ed crafts artist-focussed productions.

Much of the work Ed has produced has been played on BBC Radio 1, Radio 2, 6 Music, BBC Introducing, XFM, Amazing Radio across Europe and North America as well as on Television and Film.

He is committed to helping artists find and develop their own sound by using the studio as a collaborative tool. Instead of making demos Ed makes full recordings, seeing his role as supporting the artist in making the best record possible.

As well producing Ed teaches audio recording at Leeds Beckett University, and guest sessions at York St John University. Ed also releases music through his own 'All My Friends' label.
