Joan Hart was a pit nurse for 46 years, a role that saw her caring for 3000 men, treating them above and below ground. Hear Joan talk about her life as a part of Yorkshire community with a colliery at its heart. There will be an accompanying exhibition of coal mining related materials from the collections including photographs, newspaper reports and loaned artefacts.
