The University of Cumbria final year degree drama students present

Marlene is celebrating her promotion to director of Top Girls employment agency in style. She is holding a dinner party and the guests are all women who have inspired her achievement.

Meanwhile, back at the agency, dark clouds are gathering which force Marlene to question the compromises she has made and the price she has paid for her success. This production marks 35 years since the premiere of Top Girls and explores the sacrifices women still make today in order to compete in a ‘man’s world’.
