Half Of Me

Half of Me is a collision of dance and theatre, blending poignant storytelling and spellbinding music to create a truly emotive performance.

Featuring highly skilled Bharatanatyam dancers performing to music by acclaimed Indian composer Praveen D. Rao, the show offers a unique chance to experience classical South Asian dance with contemporary relevance.

Drawing inspiration from Satinder Kaur Chohan’s play of the same title and the Indian epic Mahabharata, Half of Me brings these stories into the here and now, sharing the often-unheard stories of young people born through Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART).

Grounded in the classical South Asian technique of Bharatanatyam, Half of Me combines the traditional with the contemporary, giving a one of a kind experience for people of all ages.
