In America, The Mammals perform as a quintet and effortlessly span the horizons of Americana, from soulfully harmonised indie-folk ballads to zealous fiddle and banjo driven numbers.
For their UK Tour The Mammals will be the band's core, and founder members Mike Merenda and Ruth Ungar.
Merenda's poignant songs paint pictures of the world we live in. Ungar's unique vocal style ranges from acapella balladry, to earthy soul and country. She weaves a magical spell with her sonorous and emotional singing.
Their concerts blend artistry and authenticity, with fiery fiddle and banjo, emotional potent harmonies and dynamic stories that deepen the experience.
Support will come from Lincolnshire duo, The Rye Sisters who perform songs in close harmony with guitar, mandolin and violin.
