Pompatus of Love

The Pompatus of Love is the world’s top superb Steve Miller tribute.. They’re fronted by the amazing Los Angeles guitarist Greg Douglass from The Steve Miller Band who wrote their classic "Jungle Love”.

In 2016 Greg and the other members were inducted into The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio. Greg was also a former member of Van Morrison's band, the Jefferson Airplane offshoot Hot Tuna, The Greg Kihn Band (playing on their hit "Jeopardy"), and has played with many, many other legendary musicians, including John Cipollina of Quicksilver Messenger Service. He’s also toured the U.K with The Former Members and San Francisco Nights, which featured members of Country Joe & The Fish, Al Kooper‘s Blues Project and Big Brother & The Holding Company.

The other members of The Pompatus of Love on this tour are three very experienced U.K musicians, all of whom who were the the U.K touring band for David LaFlamme’s classic band It's A Beautiful Day, and played The Isle Of Wight Festival and Tartan Heart Festival with them. Bassist Steve Browning was a member of The Pretty Things, and played with Ronnie Spector and many others, and is at present a member of top U.K blues band Tee’d Up, who tour internationally. Rhythm guitarist and keyboard player Rob Beckinsale has toured with Barry "The Fish" Melton of Country Joe And The Fish, with The Aguilar Blumenfeld Project and also his own bands. The drummer, Matt Wheatley, has been a member of top blues funk band Cryin' Out Loud since 1996 and many other bands. He’s collaborated with Fast Eddie Clarke of Motorhead, and with the legendary Jackie Lynton on many occasions.

This will be a superb show, featuring all the Steve Miller Band’s hits, plus a few other milestones from Greg’s illustrious career.
