Commemorating the 70th anniversary of VE Day Kings Langley Community Centre presents V for Victory.

Taking you back to England in wartime with the land girls, rationing and air raid shelters. You’ll see what the boys got up to fighting for King and country in the jungle and in the second half of the show you’ll be joining one of the many street parties held to celebrate the end of the war.

There’ll be comedy from such marvellous characters as Gert and Daisy and the unforgettable Flanagan and Allen. And of course all this will be accompanied by the memorable music that became so popular at the time and is guaranteed to have you tapping your feet and singing along all these years later.

So whether you actually experienced it first time round or you’d like to relive a time you’ve only heard stories about we’re sure you’ll enjoy our tribute to the spirit of those by gone days which will be recreated in V for Victory.
