The Festive Train

A magical pre-Christmas journey that will help set the scene for the special day with your family and friends. Get in the mood for Christmas with a magical mix of lanterns, impish elves and an early evening train journey around the lake.

First, meet up with our mischievous elves, who will get you in good cheer with their antics and they will help children collect their mini-lanterns and then tell them how to a make a special Christmas wish. Then stroll down to the warmly decorated station and clamber aboard the Christmas Train.

The Train takes a gentle journey around the lake’s edge; surrounding the lake you will see festive lights plus some special surprises. Afterwards, enter the nearby garden where you can collect a well-earned warm drink and mince pie before you walk around the giant lantern display.

Train runs every 20 minutes, starting 3:40pm. Last train runs 7:20pm.
