Requiem For Paradise By Joe Samaniego
In May 2014 in Isla Vista, California, 22-year-old Elliot Rodger killed 6 people and injured 13 others before turning the gun on himself. His ‘manifesto’ was widely circulated in the weeks afterwards, describing his frustrations and the motivations behind the attack.
This remarkable play examines what the incident might tell us about our society, what we can (or should) learn from it, and whether we can ever find a solution to the cycle of violence.
Contains strong language - suitable for ages 16+ years.
