When the great Agamemnon is murdered by his wife and her new lover in a perfectly timed coup, his daughter Elektra is left distraught.

Giving herself over to an all consuming grief, her resistance to the new order of power becomes a constant provocation to her father’s killers. Slowly her anger builds into an obsession for revenge. But her only hope for the justice she craves is the return of her exiled brother Orestes.
