The Old Blue Cats, Jim Condie, The Knights Of Mentis

The Old Blue Cats come back to Islip, reinvented after their 9-month hiatus with a fresh set of blues and country soul.

Jim Condie, one of Britain's most talented blues slide guitarists will be playing for you. He has an established reputation as a solo blues performer, and has worked with some blues greats including: Van Morrison, Amos Garrett, and Tracy Nelson. He also wrote and performed the music for award-winning Scottish comedy: Rab C. Nesbitt.

The Knights of Mentis are a nine-piece band based out of Oxford, (UK not Missisippi). They play music based in roots, folk, country and Americana and are well known on the folk and country circuit. They play their own cool compositions plus some surprising covers that may get your toes tapping!
