Kilmarnock born Graeme Macrae Burnett is one of Scotland's brightest literary talents and Tidelines is delighted to welcome him to the festival for the first time. Graeme's previous novel His Bloody Project, was shortlisted for the Man Booker proze in 2016 and named the Saltire Society 'Fiction Book of the Year'. His latest novel is a darkly humerous and sophisticated literary mystery, exploring the forgotten corners of small town life.
