Man Made left a big impression on those who saw them support Johnny Marr at his October gig in Kilmarnock. The trio, fronted by Johnny's son Nile, play left-of-centre skewed rock that's welded together with signature Marr riffing. A chip off the old block? Well, the music is harder and more aggressive, and while Johnny dabbles in the odd bit of eye liner, Nile fronts his band in full-on glam rock glitter and sparkly jackets. "I've taken kickings for this in Huddersfield!" he told us backstage in the Grand Hall.
