Set against the backdrop of demolition and renewal that was Anderston, Glasgow of the 1960’s Building Bridges steps into the lives of Bill and Bernie Speirs as they find their way back to one another. The heart was getting ripped out the place, just as it had been ripped out of Billy. Truths have to be faced, loyalties examined and decisions made.

Written by Marie Dunlop from Ardrossan, the play is a finished piece of work and the reading is to allow audience feedback on the text to allow the organisation to take the development of the work forward.
