About the show
An intimate evening with two members of Britpop legends The Bluetones, as Mark Morriss and Adam Devlin bring the band’s much-loved songs to life in a special acoustic setting.
With over three decades of songwriting and touring behind them, and a catalogue spanning six albums and fourteen Top 40 singles, Morriss and Devlin strip things back to the essence—melody, harmony, and musicianship—perfectly suited to the atmospheric surroundings of St Nicholas’ Church.
Fresh from a near sold-out UK tour, this acoustic show offers something more personal: two hours of classic songs, deep cuts, and stories from the road, delivered with warmth, humour, and the easy chemistry of a partnership forged over 30 years.
Expect an engaging, up-close performance that captures the spirit of The Bluetones in a way few shows can.

The Bluetones
Mark Morriss and the boys continue to go from strength to strength more than twenty years on. They appeared just as the Britpop boom was waning - which helped in getting their debut album 'Expecting To Fly' to the top slot in the UK charts. Musically, they endorse a tight but lithe sound, with a nod towards psychedelia, that falls somewhere between The Stone Roses, classic pop and a little touch of Oasis swagger.
