The People's String Foundation, Bootleg, Hoops & The Wolf

The People's String Foundation mix passionate theatrics with an urban gypsy sound. Led by Ben Sutcliffe (musical director for Rogue, Kneehigh and Bish Bash Bosh Theatre companies) who's virtuoso violin styles have landed him to play with the likes of The Levellers, The Stranglers, The Yardbirds and Gary Stringer from Reef.

Mixing artisan flavours with urban/world beats and a band that expands into a 24 piece orchestra, The People's String Foundation are fast being recognised as the heavyweights of the South West. As well as touring the festival and theatre circuits as a seven piece band they encompass a grass roots philosophy, working with the community and schools alike to promote local music and arts.

Early 2013 they launched the 24 piece Orchestra at the Minack Theatre in Cornwall. These rare performances harness the power of "the collective" which is a group of like-minded musicians they have met on their travels. The People's String Foundation are on a mission - to make something big and beautiful with nothing but heart and a grafter's spirit. Their anti-corporate ethos make them the local heroes the community deserves as they have and always will rely solely on the public's support.

Bootleg are a six piece semi acoustic Alt-Americana band with roots in Country, Blues and Soul music. Formed in 2013 this Brighton (UK) based band have supported many charitable events raising over £1500 in 2014 alone.
