The Galleons start their third year of Lonely Disco at The Brunswick with a fantastic lineup.
Warsaw Radio have been described by Chris Hawkins at BBC 6 Music as "One of those bands that you discover and you wish you'd known them longer"
The band have a powerful sound that drives forward beautifully constructed melodies that hint at folk, Americana and rock without ever stopping on one. 2017's mainstage set at Beautiful Days Festival and features on BBC 6 Music are sure signs that this band are beginning to live up to their fantastic potential.
Hickory Signals in the words of Roots Magazine "play some of the most charming and elegant music on the circuit today." We certainly wouldn't disagree with them, they are a fantastic band who manage to imbue their own music with as much warmth, charm and originality as they add to some well and less known folk standards.
Triumphant appearances at Cambridge Folk Festival and Cecil Sharp House have cemented their place at the forefront of modern Brititsh folk.
Your hosts The Galleons have been working hard in their new studio to bring you the finest indie-folk that can be cooked up in the back garden of a semi-detached house on the outskirts of Brighton. Their new more electric and more direct sound continues to develop so be prepared for new songs and sounds! Some intriguing new collaborations loom on the horizon and the 27th will be the first chance to get hold of their collaboration with Brighton and Hove Arts Orchestra.
