Lonely Disco 14

The Galleons are back with Lonely Disco 14 a bi-monthly night where they host some of the best touring bands from across the UK for only £5.

This month they are very excited to be welcoming back the brilliant Pete Greenwood. Pete's latest album Beauceron has featured heavily in album of the year lists including those of Q Magazine and Noel Gallagher.

The Guardian described him as 'timeless and more than a bit special' whereas the Independent said his debut album Sirens sounded 'like a lost 1970's classic'.

Pete is a true cult figure on the scene and with a new album lined up for later this year, this is a great opportunity to see him on a rare trip to Brighton.

Your hosts The Galleons have been working hard in their new studio to bring you the finest indie-folk that can be cooked up in the back garden of a semi-detached house on the outskirts of Brighton. Their new more electric and more direct sound continues to develop so be prepared for new songs and sounds!

We are also very pleased to welcome back the brilliant Jessi Norgard. With the talented Rob Holt on guitar Jessi held the audience in her thrall at one of the early Lonely Discos. She has a voice that could charm the birds from the trees and songs that have echoes of the best of the 60's singer songwriters combined with thoroughly modern sensibilities.
