The Cruel Birds are a Brighton-based soul four-piece inspired by the Memphis, Chicago and New Orleans soul artists of the 60's and early 70’s, and by the recordings made at the legendary Fame Studio in Muscle Shoals, Alabama.
Expect more than a few lost soul gems, with a sprinkling of classic hits and contemporary soul and funk.
Featuring Susanna Alce on vocals with David Shortall on guitar, Piet May on bass and Mike Cruickshank on drums.
