Live spoken word is BACK on the 27th May. Real life poetry as Hammer and Tongue returns LIVE for the first time in over a year.
For our first foray back into the real world we've got some incredible acts to amaze you with lyrical delight:
Up first will be Sophie Reid. Mixing meditation with myth, Sophie's words are a ride that?s all about making grey in a too often black and white world.
Headlining will be Jah-Mir Early, an American poet and improv spoken word artist whose style has been described as "impassioned, lyrical storytelling, meandering just to the left of chaos".
Plus the open slam, another chance to bring a performance to be judged by the audience with a chance to move through to the regional final, then the national final, at the Albert Hall.
With social distancing guidelines still in place, capacity is limited to just 36.
