Winner of the London Comedy Festival 2001 and star of Eve Ensler's hit show, The Vagina Monologues. Shazia is lifting the veil on the world of Muslim comedy. She is well-known for her appearances on BBC's Have I Got News For You, Beautiful People, Muslim Driving School, The Now Show, Last Comic Standing on NBC and CBS’s 60 Minutes. A practising Muslim, Shazia is known for her deadpan delivery on her observations of her religious world. She headlines all over the world and has performed solo tours in the US, Sweden, Denmark, France, India, Holland and Germany. The only female Muslim stand-up comedian, she has come a long way since starting out in Birmingham in 2000 working as a science teacher and driving up and down the country for a booking for as little as £10. Hailing from the East end of London, Tommy is a born and bred Londoner who not only performs stand up comedy but is a DJ whose passion for music has led him play all across the country including top London venues. The love of playing music grew into a desire to produce it. Tommy set up his own company producing theme music to TV shows. He remixed the theme for Blind Date and other shows on ITV1 which then got him the recognition to produce music for several shows on BBC1, Living, Bravo and Challenge amongst others As an established voiceover artist Tommy has brought his warm and youthful sound to adverts and commercials across radio and TV as well as prestigious events such as The MOBO Awards. Former host of the BBC Asian Network breakfast show, Tommy brought his cheeky nature to weekdays. Tommy’s TV presenting has seen him host travel and lifestyle shows where he tests everything from gadgets and gizmo’s to yachts and hotels around the world. You can currently catch Tommy on the telly all around the world with his techy reviews … look out for him as the ‘Gadget Guru’ on Fast:Track on BBC World.

Smart, sharp and brilliantly astute, Kae Kurd is a young British-Kurdish stand up. Passionate about making politics accessible to young people, his comedy presents beautifully crafted slick routines with confident cutting edge flair. Having already conquered the urban circuit, 2014 saw him make his transition to the mainstream and now regularly performs at leading venues including: Up the Creek, Comedy Cafe, Off the Kerb & Laughing Boy Comedy Club. Kae is also an active campaigner and human rights activist. At just 24 years old has already been interviewed for Newsbeat, Radio 5 Live, Russian Today as well being a regular speaker at various events including The Kurdistan Emergency Appeal and the American Kurdish Youth Festivals.
