With a voice that has been compared to the smoky laid-back swing of Julie London or Peggy Lee, Kate is accompanied by award-winning bass player Alec Dankworth, John Horler - pianist to the great Dame Cleo Laine, and multi-instrumentalist Graham Pike who brings trumpet, flugelhorn and chromatic harmonica to the event.
Expect more than a concert. Kate has earned a reputation for the intimate and engaging relationship she creates with her audiences, as she shines a light on the songs she sings and the lives of the songwriters. The result is a wonderful concert that celebrates the great songwriters and musicians of the Jazz age.
