Viva Cuba
Cuban keys/vocals maestro Rene Alvarez brings his 7-piece Cuban Combination from Ronnie Scott’s Upstairs to Holt Festival. Joined by exhibition dancers Juan and Maria, this is a chance to see and hear a unique history of Cuban music and dance.
During this 2 hour party, Rene tells the story of rumba, bolero, danzon, cha cha cha, salsa, timba, in words, music and dance.
During the intervals Juan and Maria are available to polish your dancing skills.
