The Maid

It's 1915 and the Great War, the war to end all wars, is in full swing. Edith Summers has acquired the position of chambermaid at the impressive Chorely Hall.
But the attic room of her new work place holds a story. A story of forbidden love; a love condemned by class and status, compounded by the horrors and finality of war. Someone is desperate for her help and Edith is adamant that the lover's story she has uncovered is resolved, whatever the consequences.
Both harrowing and touching, this is a Market Theatre Scary not to miss.
