BLYTH POWER
Formed in late 1983 by singer/drummer/songwriter Joseph Porter Blyth Power have spent the intervening decades changing sound, form and line up in a constant search for the perfect formula.

Following early exposure to the Indie scene in the mid-eighties, and a series of album releases on Midnight Music into the nineties, the band founded their own record label and have managed their own affairs ever since, culminating to date in their most recent recording 'Women and Horses and Power and War, which was the result of an overwhelmingly successful Kickstarter project, and was released at their own 'Blyth Power Ashes' festival.

The current line up sees Joseph Porter still fronting the band from behind a diminutive drumkit, Ann Hatcher on keyboards, Ben Bailey on bass (we took him on purely for the alliteration) and Jerry Hellfire, Porter's younger brother, now delivering the kind of guitar that lifts us up where we belong. With the keyboards and guitar sharing the lead, and a rhythm section that knows its place there has never been a better Blyth Power, and never a better time to come and see them.

If a measure of a band's success is its ability to involve, to improve, and ultimately to keep moving forward, then Blyth Power must be the best in the business.

THE ASTRONAUTS
Needing no introduction by now, Welwyn Garden's City seminal psych-punk group The Astronauts make a rare full band appearance.

Led by Mark Astronaut, a man with copious releases in the bag (for life) spanning 41 years, The Astronauts are renowned for their uncompromising musical approach, with tales of every day England woven into unpredictable and captivating bursts of noise.

They have shared stages with acts as eclectic as Psychic TV, Hawkwind, The Mob, Dire Straits and were once supported by Duran Duran (!).

These days The Astronauts are a four-headed beast with Mark backed ably by Lee Hague on drums, Dominic Perez-Silva on guitar and Paul O'Donnell (also of Zounds) on bass.

THE METATRONS
"...a real indie pop treat" - R*E*P*E*A*T Fanzine

"...jangling pop..that will make your day" - Norman Records

"Such a sweet soundcracking!" - Amazing Radio

Perfectlilting but loud indiepop from Hitchin, formed in 2011 over a love of pop, punk, new wave and salty chips.
The Metatrons take the angular style of new wave and the melodies of 80's indiepop bands and knit them together, so you get memorable tunes, scorching guitars and everyone goes home happy.
They have released two albums - 2011's Between Planets was an indie treat and 2016's Patterns of Chaos was a great success, gaining radio play on 6Music, Amazing Radio and many more.
Their video for the single Smile (don't let me down) was shown on SKY TV over 2016 / 2017 and earned the band lots of new fans.
Their relentless touring over the last 6 years has seen them play with the likes of Echobelly, The Primitives, Shonen Knife, Glen Matlock, The Subways, Dodgy, The Blockheads and many more.
Come and witness their highly infectious riot-pop-ness!
