Chris and Sophie of Blast From the Past are highly experienced and skilled historical music performers who bring to life 600 years of music with warmth and wit.

Between them, they play over 30 instruments, and fit in numerous costume changes.

It's fast and fun with long-forgotten tunes sitting alongside old favourites which you'll find yourself joining in with. The raucous mixes with the courtly and sublime, stately medieval music leaning up against flowery Victoriana. Add to that the wit of Blackadder and 1066 And All That and the stage is set for a night of great good humour where you'll learn something without even realising it.

They bring with them a fantastic array of rarely seen musical instruments that are crying out for a closer look in the interval: virginal, rauschpfeife and lute (and that’s just the first 100 years!)
