Sociable Plover

Roy is a bird watching fanatic. He needs just one more to complete the 567 species on the British List. On a stormy December morning he arrives at an isolated bird hide on remote marshland reserve intent on spotting the elusive Sociable Plover - the one bird he needs to complete the list.

Then Dave arrives, a seemingly pleasant young man dressed in a smart suit but soaking wet and covered in mud - he is clearly not a bird watcher. The two men start to talk and share Roy's lunch. Secrets are hinted at, secrets revealed, a quirky charming modern black comedy.
