An Evening with Marlene Dietrich

“An Evening with Marlene Dietrich” is an hour-long musical theatre about the life and career of an icon who dominated the world stage from 1930-1974.

Born in 1901, Marlene became a Hollywood star in the 1930’s and then sang for the Allies on the front line during World War II.

This was followed by a long career as a cabaret artist, touring the world, with her arranger and friend Burt Bacharach. Working well into her 70’s she then retreated to her apartment in Paris, where she remained for the last 12 years of her life.

In 2014, the show was taken to 30 residential homes in the UK, supported by The Arts Council England.
