Anything Goes

It’sde-lovely, it’s de-lightful, it’s de-marvellous - and Anything Goes on the luxury ocean liner The SS American bound for London from New York.

Climb aboard for an evening of fun and spectacle as stowaway Billy Crocker tries to woo heiress Hope Harcourt from her fiance Lord Evelyn Oakleigh. In his pursuit of Hope’s affection he enlists the help of Gangster Moonface Martin and nightclub singer Reno, resulting in madcap mayhem; and all to the classic, memorable music of Cole Porter.

After all, There’s no Cure Like Travel for Friendship. Get a Kick out of Evangelist Reno Sweeny and her Angels as they meet Public Enemy Number One while Gabriel Blows his horn. Get your feet tapping as the dancers demonstrate that a Glimpse of Stocking can be more than just a little shocking under the creative direction of Michael Huntington, the musical direction of Jonathan Heard, and choreography by Samantha Riley.

An Amateur production by arrangement with MusicScope and Stage Musicals Ltd. of New York.
