50 Steps - Walking And Dancing The Pennine Way

This performance by 3 dancers, a musician and a video artist pays tribute to the Pennine Way in its 50th anniversary year.

The group will walk a local section of the route during the day and improvise a response the same evening, interpreting a shared experience of the walk. Performers are David Birchall, Stacey Johnstone, Ruth Jones, Natalie Speake and Simon Warner.

The performance will be preceded by a short introduction to the geology and landscape of the Pennines by William Varley of West Yorkshire Geology Trust.
