One of our favourite venues for its friendly atmosphere, great location, great food and lovely staff.
Lakeside has a friendly village atmosphere with comfortable well-equipped chalets set beside the coast. Hayling Island is within easy reach of Portsmouth’s maritime history and the cathedral city of Chichester, which are great for exploring. It’s also a region of fine houses and castles that once belonged to several historic and literary figures.
At Lakeside you’re right by the sea but still close to the countryside with local wildlife including squirrels and local birds. Lakeside has great facilities including an indoor pool and archery and there is also the opportunity to hire a bike or walk to the nearby beach.
