Kemp’s Jig
In 1599 Will Kemp, a comic actor in Shakespeare’s company, decided to dance from London to Norwich stopping at a number of towns and villages on the way. Through music of the period and readings from Kemp’s own account Ancestral Voices explore this East Anglian odyssey.
