Learn to Knit

Knitting is a great way to relax and also be creative at the same time. There is an amazing variety of yarns to work with to make your knitted projects and once you have learnt the basics you can start to make lots of different items.

In this class you will learn to work the knit stitch and to cast on and cast off. You will also be shown some projects that can be made with these basic skills.

For the class you will need to bring:
- A pair of 4mm (old UK size 8) needles
- A ball of light coloured, smooth DK (double knit) weight yarn
- Scissors

If you don't have access to any of these materials Fiona will have some needles and yarn available to purchase on the day.
