Theatre At War 1914 - 1918
Theatre and entertainment have always been a good way to communicate ideas and raise morale.
In this lively talk we will discover how, during the First World War, theatre and performance raised huge sums of money, inspired hatred of the enemy, and, for the soldier, provided a hiatus from the tedium of camp life.
