Dogs And Daffs Charity Dog Walk And Fun Dog Show

Banish those winter blues on 1st March and put your best foot forward for charity. Come along to the Stable Yard at Hatfield House with your pooch and stroll the grounds of Hatfield Park.

The beautiful grounds will be opened exclusively for walkers and their dogs taking part in this event. There are four rambles for all abilities including one which is suitable for wheelchairs or parents with buggies.

The walk will be followed by a fun dog show in the Stable Yard where proud owners can show off their faithful friends in categories such as ‘Most handsome dog’, ‘Dog most like it’s owner’ and ‘Prettiest Bitch’.

A vet will be on hand during the day to discuss the benefits of micro-chipping and pet owners will also have the chance to have a professional photo taken. Woody, the RDA’s life size wooden horse will be visiting. And don’t miss a visit to the ‘Hair of the Dog’, the Stable Yard’s newest retailer - a dog groomer!

Organised by the Digswell Place Group Riding for Disabled Association the event hopes to raise much needed funds for the local charity. On the day volunteers will be on hand to share information and advice on the many ways in which the charity can be supported.
