Supernatural thriller set in Kolkata. Jaz Deol (Eastenders, Viceroy's House), stars as British Asian artist Ronnie, who is forced to go to India for the first time when his mother goes missing from London and turns up in a hospital in Kolkata. Things start to unravel for Ronnie when he arrives - and discovers that everything his mother has told him about their family history is untrue. Thought to be the first British Asian film that really looks at how we belong or don't belong to India, Darkness Visible is an unforgettably creepy and stunningly shot portrayal of India.

This screening will be followed by a Q and A session!
