When Don Pasquale is unable to convince his nephew to marry for money rather than love he hatches a plan to ?nd himself a bride, produce an heir and thereby win himself a large inheritance. A series of highly comic encounters ensue, as the greed of the increasingly battered and bewildered Don Pasquale is exposed.
