Based on the novel Kipps by H. G. Wells, Half A Sixpence follows the relationship between childhood friends Kipps and Ann.

When parted as children, Kipps cuts a sixpence in half and tells Ann to look at it whenever she misses him.

Meeting up years later, they re-kindle their childhood friendship only for circumstances to separate them again. Is the grass really greener on the other side? Can love bring them back together and conquer all? What is the secret of true happiness?
