Harriet Crossley Dell: The Blanket Sculptures
A posthumous tribute to Harriet Crossley Dell (1945-2013): a direct relative of the Victorian tycoons who built the Dean Clough mills, a prominent figure in Halifax culture and an artist in her own right. The exhibition focuses mainly on her imposing ‘blanket sculptures’ that address issues of politics, economics and gender.
