SKIES electro driven alt-rock is already making quite a large mark on the UK music scene and we are delighted to have them return to The Star, for a February show.

The band have picked up support across the board including BBC Introducing and Radio 1, with tracks also featured on Spotify’s 'Rockd', 'Hot New Bands', 'Summer Indie' 'Fierce Femme’s' and 'New Music Friday' playlists.

Following a breakthrough support tour with Manchester’s The Slow Readers Club, the band released their EP ‘We Fear Change’ off the back of an incredible 2017 which featured stand out songs "Dead" and "Afterwards", and arguably their biggest achievement to date: a sold out hometown show at Folkestone’s 400 capacity Quarterhouse.

Early 2018 has seen SKIES' get off to a flying start with their cover of Enter Shikari's 'Live Outside'. SKIES' version of the song received acclaim from KERRANG! Radio and even from Enter Shikari themselves. A new EP X is out now

SKIES are Alie Cotter (vocals/guitar) & Jericho Tozer (drums/vocals/synths).

Support from excellent alternative rockers Brightlight City bringing hooks that stick in your mind...shimmering guitars and anthemic ambitions. The band played our "Save Our Star" all-dayer back in July last year

Opening the evening and making their Jasta debut will be surf alternative rock three piece Warp Rays
