Emma has a new job. She’s seeing a colleague, Darren. She thinks she’s in love. Her boss thinks she’s in breach of contract. The situation needs to be resolved. Shocking, sinister and amusing, Mike Bartlett’s ink –black comedy examines the boundaries between work and play. Contractions premiered at the Royal Court Theatre, London in 2008 to critical acclaim.
