Magpie Lane

This will be Magpie Lane's second visit to the club and will be greatly welcome by all those who saw their Christmas Show in 2017.

The band is based in Oxford and its five members specialize in traditional English songs and dance tunes on a wide range of instruments, including concertina, fiddle, cello, bouzouki, melodeon, guitar and percussion, and voices individually and in glorious harmony.

The band has been delighting audiences in performance on ten critically-acclaimed albums for over 25 years with their combination of powerful vocals and vigorous dance tunes performing inventive arrangements on acoustic instruments. It's hard to think of another English folk band that is able to offer the same standard of performance!
