We're delighted to welcome the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra under their charismatic young Russian conductor Kirill Karabits for their debut performance at G Live. What better piece to open the evening than the famous overture to Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro, followed by Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 3 with its grand orchestration and stormy, Romantic rhetoric. The second half of the concert is dedicated to Schubert's magnificent Symphony No. 9, a joyous sunlit work of expansive scale and rhythmic vitality.
