Hailing from a small village in the West Country three piece Port Erin released their fourth album "Ocean Grey" in April of this year. Their genre bending music has a cinematic feel that could be from the opening credits of a Scandi-noir thriller, but defies categorisation encompassing alternative rock with echoes of jazz, coupled with mechanical Krautrock undertones. They are as punk as they are prog, and as political as they are personal.

Drawing on influences such as Talking Heads, XTC, Syd Arthur, Talk Talk, Cowtown and Elbow, Port Erin are a band the simply won't be constrained by genre or style, their music speaks for itself.

The band have made appearances at many festivals including; Glastonbury Festival (four times), played live sessions for BBC Introducing and their music has been aired numerous times on BBC Radio 6 Music.
