False Advertising, I Plead Irony, Lonely Ocean

Manchester based three piece False Advertising fuse sweetly snarling hooks with a cathartic hit of fuzz-guitar, born out of a desire to prove what is so vital about raw, energetic live music. The band, fronted by Jen Hingley (niece of former Inspiral Carpets frontman Tom Hingley) describe their sound as twisted power grunge!

This year has so far seen the band given a full page in NME magazine, receive Radio 1 airplay for the single 'Not My Fault' and play SXSW festival in Texas. This follows a successful 2016 which saw live appearances at Kendal Calling and Liverpool Sound City among others, as well as Radio airplay from Radio 1, Radio 6 Music and Radio X.
