Academix

Academix are a 5 piece contemporary a cappella band based in Woking.

They sing pop and jazz songs ranging from The Andrews Sisters in the 1930s, through doo-wop from the 1950s, Coldplay in the 1990s, to Taylor Swift today. Academix re-interprets songs you know and love, using their voices to produce the sound of drums, trumpets, violins, and electric guitars.

Last year Academix sold out their Guildford Fringe performance, which was reviewed in the Surrey Advertiser as a 'delightful evening's entertainment'.

An Academix performance features close harmony, beat-boxing, vocal looping, and of course fabulous shoes!
