Scottish Youth Opera

Scottish Opera's Connect Company – made up of talented young singers, players and stage managers aged between 16 and 21 – present Purcell’s tragic tale of love and betrayal.

Directed by Mary McCluskey, Scottish Youth Theatre’s Artistic Director, and designed by Finlay McLay, this exciting, fully-staged production gives a nod to the opera’s classical roots, with a 21st Century edge. The Company is joined by Shuna Scott Sendall as Dido, Sarah Power as Belinda and Paul Keohone as Aeneas.
