The Festival is an exciting concept mixing music and sport, so whether you are happy to watch, listen, play or, join in, it's your choice as there should be something for everyone to do.
Over the weekend teams will be competing to be crowned 'SportBeatFest Champions 2013' in Rugby Sevens, Netball and Wheelchair Rugby aka Murderball, a tournament format will determine who makes it through to the Finals on Sunday afternoon. Spectators are welcome to watch and encourage all teams taking part in what promises to be an exciting weekend of sport.
A donation will be made to the Carly Taylor Fighting Back Fund from money raised at the Festival. Carly, who was left paralysed from the neck down after a terrible accident, played locally for Hucclecote and the University of Gloucestershire Netball Clubs.
Summer Clash ’13 is like an event within an event to test some of the fittest athletes in the UK. Fitness athletes train to successfully complete tasks some of which include weightlifting, gymnastics, endurance and balance.
The 'Interactive Family Zone' includes a BMX, skateboard & scooter display ramp and 'come & try it' skills sessions for budding sports stars. There will be Bouncy World for the energetic, young or old! Local food producers will be selling their wares at the Food Market along with Gloucester Brewery ales and Severn Cider.
